Yes, you can share files using password protection. There are 2 ways to do that:

1) Via public link (available only with subscriptions):

- Select the file you wish to share.
- Click on the Link button in the top bar.
- Click on the Change Permissions/Add Expiration link.
- Under Who can view this? check “Only people with the password”.
- Enter a password.
- Copy the link.
- Click on Apply.

The people you share the link with will need to know the password to access the file.

2) Via Shared spaces and file encryption:

- Click on + next to Shared Spaces to create a Space.
- Choose name for the Space.
- Go to the cloud service where the files you wish to share are located.
- Select them.
- Click on Encrypt from the top bar.
- Enter a password.
- Select the encrypted files again.
- Click on Share from the top bar.
- Choose the Space name you created earlier.
- Navigate to the Space.
- Right click.
- Choose Edit Properties.
- Invite people by entering their email addresses.
- Click on Send Invite.

The people you invited will have access to the encrypted files through the Otixo Space you shared with them, because the encryption key will be exchanged with them. No other users, however, will be able to access these files outside of Otixo or without being invited to your Space.
