Cross-border WebDAV service.

Thomas Cheng May 31, 2016 11:52PM PDT

Hi there,

I'm trying to do a cross-border shared WebDAV service.

The locations are NY and Hong Kong, quite distant apart.

We must be able to map these drives to a drive letter on our Windows Machines.

Some drives may include legacy applications such as QuickBooks. There will be concurrent connections working on the same files. So Excel lock files, quickbook lock schemas must work (as if everyone is working in the same office using an NAS).

It would be best to use S3 as storage, but no strict limitations on this.

Is this possible?

Please let me know. Thanks!

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out.
We do support the light version of Amazon S3 and many of our users connect to their NAS servers, however all servers and configurations are different, so we cannot guarantee support for all of them.
I would therefore advise you to create a Free Otixo account and to test out the connection to the services which you wish to work with.

Kind regards,
